Tanzid ton, Taskin spell seal Bangladesh series win

Bangladesh secured the series with a strong all-round performance, as Tanzid Hasan’s brilliant 107 and Taskin Ahmed’s four-wicket haul outclassed Agha Salman’s fighting 106.

Tanzid gave Bangladesh the perfect platform with a composed century, anchoring the innings and keeping the scoreboard moving at an important stage. His knock proved to be the backbone of Bangladesh’s total and put the opposition under pressure.

In reply, Agha Salman produced a superb 106 and tried to keep his side in the contest, but he did not get enough support from the other end. Taskin then turned the game decisively in Bangladesh’s favour with a superb four-for, breaking key partnerships and ending the chase hopes.

With both bat and ball delivering at the right time, Bangladesh wrapped up the match and sealed the series in style.
